I know what having OCD is like and want to show you how to manage it. Years ago, I had a personal struggle with OCD. My OCD was all-consuming, making relationships tough to manage, and robbed me of my time and energy. I was fortunate to find treatment that pulled me out of it, which was Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy. I’ve been trained in ERP, and in all my years as a therapist and as someone who experienced OCD, I know that ERP is the right treatment for all OCD subtypes.
OCD creates an intense level of anxiety, and the thoughts, urges, and images in your head can be downright scary. So much time is spent dealing with OCD that it can leave you too tired to fight back. I’m here to teach you how to handle your obsessions, so you can free yourself from OCD. Members say that I’m compassionate and empathetic, and I often throw in a dash of humor to lighten up sessions. Building rapport is especially important to me. My goal is to work as a team to get your OCD under control so you can get back to living the life you want.
