I’ve been a practicing therapist for over 12 years, having worked with a variety of mental health issues. I’ve also struggled with OCD in the past, at a time when proper treatment wasn’t made fully accessible for people. I want to provide you with treatment that is far and beyond better than what was once available to me. That’s why I practice Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, which is the best treatment for OCD and was specifically created for OCD. From my own experience, I know it works for all subtypes, and I am happy to provide it.
I know that OCD interferes with your life, and that it makes relationships challenging to deal with. I’ve dealt with intrusive thoughts, and I understand how it causes you anxiety, to have people you love see you doing compulsions, creating avoidance. Your OCD may even impair your ability to function, or perhaps it makes you feel isolated. I’m here to guide you out of the control that OCD has over your life. My patients often achieve significant symptom reduction within 10 sessions. It takes courage to confront your symptoms and change your behavior, but you don't have to do this alone.
