My experience with treating OCD:

I started counseling in 2006, working in community mental health, family practice, and within a faith-based health clinic. I moved to Dallas, Texas, where I’ve handled more faith-based clients. Since my move, I’ve encountered more OCD concerns and have been using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy with excellent results. It’s incredible to see how helpful ERP is. I’ve encountered many OCD subtypes, and ERP works in treating every single one of them.

About Me

OCD is as individual and unique as the person in front of me. There are commonalities between every OCD experience, but everyone has their story. Your OCD may be questioning your faith and morality, or even your everyday choices that you make throughout the day. You may be relying on compulsions to destress, but that’s a temporary solution that doesn’t help you put the anxiety behind you. My goal is to empower you so that you can manage OCD on your own. You’re also not alone in this process; I’ll be right by your side. Members find me to be approachable, relatable, and encouraging. Whether you need a faith-based therapist or just an OCD specialist, I can work with you to get your life back from OCD.
