My experience with treating OCD:

In my private practice, I treat various mental health challenges, such as ADHD, men’s wellness, infertility, and OCD. At NOCD, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to treat people looking to overcome their OCD. ERP was created to treat any OCD subtype and is proven to work. I’ve seen firsthand how ERP empowers people through their choices and the results from those choices. I hope to assist you in your journey through OCD recovery.

About Me

I know how OCD can make you feel isolated, fearful, and even ashamed. OCD is a lot to take on, but there’s hope in getting better. It’s my job as a therapist to see the world through your eyes, so during sessions, I’ll listen carefully to how you describe your OCD experiences to tailor treatment to your personal needs. It’s also important to know that your unwanted thoughts are just thoughts, and through therapy, you’ll learn how to turn that fact into a real experience. You’ll find me experienced and empathetic as I show you the tools to manage OCD independently. I also work as a congregational rabbi, speak Hebrew, and work in faith-based communities. Let’s partner together so you can put your OCD worries behind you.

Michael Friedman

I am a hoarder which has caused me problems for 51yrs. The older I get the more people that die the worse I get. Change is very scary. I went through that and I had to remind myself that this is a mental health condition that has caused me and my family a lot of grief. I have been open about being molested as a child, my ADD and my clinical depression. Along with the death of many family members including my husband. This is no different, I need help badly it is a mental health issue. I have looked for this for several years and could not find any one. I thought I may have OCD years ago because I count a lot and somethings do have to be just right. I have learned so much about OCD I am not the lunatic that I might trying to hide.
